Terraprava
Romano d'Ezzelino, Veneto, Italy
Monia Zilio
Terraprava was born from the little, big childhood dream of Monia, owner and vine grower of the winery. She used to play on a hill named Col Roigo, from the top of which she used to dream about a universe in full harmony with man.
She made her wish come true and today she practices biodynamic agriculture growing grapes, olive and fruit trees on her hillock. Monia also raises bees and hens.
The adjective "prava" associated with "terra" (or "land" in Italian language) comes from a quote by the poet Dante Alighieri that mentions the Roigo hill in his major work "La Divina Commedia".
Actually the winery produces two white wines, one still and one sparkling, both deep expressions of the surrounding environment characterized by a spiritual, involving biodiversity.
